At every school I've worked, before and after PSM/JPA, school leaders openly post their credentials to the public, so the students, parents, and community can see their leadership qualifications. It has recently struck me that Steve and Naomi's credentials are nowhere to be found. At least Jeanette posts (and reposts) her qualifications.
So here are some questions. If you wish, you should answer them on the Jay Pritzker Academy website.
1. Where did you attend university, and what were your areas of study? Give the exact major, minor, and graduation year.
2. Where did you complete your graduate work or PhD work? Same details as above.
3. From most recent, list your experiences. What schools or organizations have you worked for, and for how long? What positions did you hold there?
These basic questions help teachers, students, parents, and communities feel safe. We know our children are in competent hands because they are the most qualified to be in leadership positions. The principal and his wife before Steve and Naomi (who is his partner) were quite clear about their credentials and a quick google search backed up their information.
Step up to the plate, Steve. Or in your own words, "Be a man." (Remember saying that to a teacher when he was sick?)
Reply with your answers, please.
